Info

The Free Company called Oschon’s Journey was founded in the early days of the Seventh Astral Era as a group of trusted associates and close friends of Kaiyo Mikazuki and Elyas Kara. Initially, the company operated out of Elyas’s parents’ basement. This lasted for about 3 days before they were given a temporary space at the Forgotten Knight.

The adventurers within Oschon’s Journey are those who can oft be found accompanying the Kaiyo and Elyas on their journeys, though each one often specializes in something specific. Additionally, the company has a particular focus on the dissolution of slaving and human trafficking rings, which goes hand in hand with its opposition to the Garlean Empire. Those who find a home in Oschon’s Journey are oft misfits, outcasts, and those whose chains the company has helped to shatter.

Following the events of Heavensward, Oschon’s Journey relocated to the Kara family’s old house in the Brume, with the Karas now living in the Firmament. This remained their base of operations until after Endwalker, when an airship bearing the name of the company was completed as a joint project between the Garlond Ironworks and Skysteel Manufactory. The former Kara house has since been converted to a small community center within the Brume.

Oschon’s Journey offers its members a comprehensive package of benefits, including but not limited to: paid time off, a standard salary not based on the completion of jobs and quests, full healthcare through a partnership with the Athena, room and board upon the airship, and access to the many services aboard the company’s vessel.

The dormitory aboard the airship is organized into suites of three to four rooms which are joined by a shared bathroom.

When Kaiyo or Elyas are otherwise unavailable, the following individuals are considered officers of the company, with full permission to act in their steads:

The Airship, Oschon’s Journey

Sentient isn't quite the right word for what the airship is, though it could easily be mistaken as such. Given some degree of autonomy via advanced familiar magicks woven by Silvano Holbrook (Emile Drozdov's paternal Grandfather), the airship has a rudimentary intelligence that dictates its actions. The most important things to note about this are as follows:
